How to Add Several Locations on Google Maps

Google Maps is an incredibly useful tool for planning trips, finding directions, and exploring new places. Whether you’re planning a day trip or a multi-day adventure, adding multiple locations to your Google Maps can help you navigate efficiently and stay organized. In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of adding several locations on Google Maps, ensuring that your travel plans are always at your fingertips.

Step 1: Open Google Maps on Your Device

To begin adding locations to Google Maps, open the app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. If you haven’t already, download and install the Google Maps app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Sign in to Your Google Account

Before you can add locations, you’ll need to sign in to your Google account. If you’re not already signed in, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper-left corner of the app, then select “Sign in” and enter your Google account credentials.

Step 3: Create a New Route

Once you’re signed in, you can start creating a new route by tapping the search bar at the top of the screen. Type in the first location you want to visit and select it from the search results. This will automatically add it to your route.

Step 4: Add Additional Locations

To add more locations to your route, tap the “+” icon located to the right of the first location in your route. A list of suggested locations will appear. You can either select one of these suggestions or type in a new location. Once you’ve selected a location, it will be added to your route.

Step 5: Adjust the Order of Locations

If you need to change the order of the locations in your route, simply tap and hold on a location, then drag it to the desired position. This allows you to plan your trip in the most efficient order.

Step 6: Save Your Route

After you’ve added all the locations you need, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper-left corner of the screen, then select “Save” to save your route. You can give your route a name and add a description if desired.

Step 7: Access Your Saved Route

To access your saved route later, tap the menu icon, select “Your Places,” and then go to “Maps.” Your saved route will be listed there, ready for you to use whenever you need it.

By following these simple steps, you can easily add several locations to Google Maps and plan your trips with ease. Whether you’re exploring a new city or embarking on a cross-country road trip, Google Maps is an invaluable tool for keeping your travel plans organized and ensuring a smooth journey.
